TypezoAbout
A bid is an evidence problem.
Typezo is RFP response software for US solicitations. It exists for one reason: the sentence in a bid that cannot be traced to a document is the sentence that loses the bid, and most tools make those sentences easier to write.
Why it exists
A bid team does not fail because it cannot write. It fails because a certification was not held, a clause was missed in an attachment, a page reference drifted after an amendment, or a plausible number was never checked. The prose usually reads well. That is the problem: fluent text hides the missing evidence.
Typezo is built around a narrower promise than “AI writes your bid”. Every drafted answer cites a stored span, or the requirement is reported as a gap. There is no third state, and no filler to make a matrix look complete.
What it does
It reads a solicitation and the documents a bid team already holds. It extracts every requirement with its section and page in document order, drafts an answer only where a stored span supports it, and reports the rest as gaps. Before export, a deterministic verifier re-checks every quote against the stored page text, every page against the parser, and every number, date and dollar figure against a cited quote. A run that fails cannot be exported as clean.
The output is a compliance matrix (XLSX) and a requirement-by-requirement draft (DOCX). The same workspace runs a help desk that answers internal questions from published articles with the same citation check, or opens a ticket when no article supports the answer.
What it will not do
- Write narrative sections, or bid strategy.
- Claim certifications we do not hold. There is no FedRAMP, CMMC or SOC 2.
- Say “we never see your documents”. Prompts pass through our gateway in memory; the honest statement is on the security page.
- Train on customer documents, or let a provider do it. That is a contractual rule, not a setting.
- Guarantee a win, or replace the person who signs the bid.
Who it is for
Small bid teams responding to US solicitations, where the person who understands the requirement is also the person assembling the matrix. It is not a bid-writing agency, not a proposal design tool, and not built for narrative-heavy federal proposals yet. The scope is stated plainly on the pricing page and in the technical details.
How it is run
One workspace runs on one dedicated instance with one KMS key per tenant. There is no shared pool. We operate the service ourselves and the architecture is documented in public, including the limits. The product is sold directly, not through a reseller, and the pricing is one rate for one workspace.
Typezo is operated by a small team. You can check the product without a call through the sample workspace, or see a real solicitation extracted. For anything else, book a 20-minute walkthrough or email jason@typezo.io.
